Another drugstore review for you guys! This is a review for the MSF looking bronzing powder from Prestige cosmetics. These come in three different shades. I picked up the lightest shade, Pure Shimmer, which was more of a highlighter than a bronzer.
I freaking love this product! Again, it’s an inexpensive product that does not sacrifice quality. The shade Pure Shimmer is a light golden colour, perfect for highlighting. I know some people don’t like highlighters that are glittery. This product has more of a pearly sheen rather than chunks of glitter. I definitely recommend trying out this product The only downside is that the packaging makes it a bit hard to open, but what’s inside is what’s most important right?
Here’s a swatch of the product. It’s quite pigmented and the texture is nice. It feels denser than the usual MAC MSFs. I didn’t have to dig into the compact. I believe I swiped my finger back and forth once (so I technically swiped it twice).
For reference, here’s MAC’s Soft and Gentle MSF next to Prestige’s Pure Shimmer bronzing powder. Soft and Gentle is darker and has glitter, something that I don’t mind but I’m aware some people do.
This is the best photo I could get. Soft and Gentle is on top and Pure Shimmer is on the bottom. Pure Shimmer blends into the skin and leaves a glow more than a glittery effect.
