The packaging of all Majolica Majorca products are so cute! Very gothic lolita. It’s like Too Faced’s evil sister

I’ve heard rave reviews about this brand and how popular it is in Asian countries. Majolica Majorca is a subsidiary of Shiseido and is carried at the Asian drugstores. I decided to try out this mascara since I was disappointed with the last Shiseido Lasting Lift mascara I got. I don’t know if they changed the formula or if I got a dud, but I was dissatisfied with how it clumped my lashes, which I didn’t experience in the past. I had to really do my research since I had to order from smaller companies online and that means no generous return policies. I purchased mine on eBay.

It was definitely confusing as to which mascara to choose since they come out with “new generations” of mascaras and some reviews I found were for older versions. This particular mascara, lash expander plus, has fibers whereas the previous generations did not.

The intricate names of the mascaras don’t help so let me break it down in layman terms. All the mascaras are waterproof:
Lash Expander Frame Plus: Lengthening mascara
Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo: Separating mascara
Lash Enamel Volume On: Volumizing mascara

I love the way this mascara makes my lashes look. It holds the curl all day, gives nice volume, lengthens, and doesn’t clump. The only problems I have with it is the brush shape and the fibers. The brush takes a while to get used to and I’m always so slow with it. With traditional brushes I can just carelessly swipe the mascara on while with a comb, I have to be careful. As with the fibers, they can get in your eyes which is why I wouldn’t recommend these mascaras for contact lens wearers. I don’t think I benefit much from the fibers anyway so I wish I could opt without them. Overall, I’m impressed with the Majolica brand. This is my new HG mascara but I’m interested in trying out their other mascaras! When it comes to my lashes, Shiseido owns them.

Being as this mascara is waterproof, it is difficult to remove. Actually, it’s more difficult to remove than traditional waterproof mascaras. HOWEVER, I used the Majolica Majorca eye makeup remover and it made the mascara removal process easier than traditional mascaras. Review on that product coming soon! :)
