Food: “Honey” Walnut Tofu

I made some honey walnut tofu and they ended up being vegan because I didn’t have any honey so I used agave nectar instead. UPDATE: It’s not vegan; I was substituting in all these vegan ingredients and I forgot that I had used sweetened condensed creamer. If one wanted to make this vegan I think they could just add in more sugar or agave nectar.
I followed this recipe for honey walnut shrimp, but veggied and lazified it.
I took a bag of pre-fried tofu, squeezed out the excess water, and fried them in boxed tempura mix. I made the sauce just like in the recipe but used agave nectar to substitute honey. I ran out of mayonaise, so I got some Nayonaise from my neighbor who is vegan. I tossed the fried tofu in the sauce, added some shredded lettuce to dilute the sweetness of the sauce, and threw in some pre-glazed walnuts.
